A week after Saber Interactive promised a whole bunch of player-requested features and fixes for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, the first of these are now here – with the sci-fi shooter’s latest patch introducing “more helpful and effective” bots, private lobbies, and more.
Saber Interactive spent a fair bit of time discussing bots last week, acknowledging player complaints that the general ineffectiveness of teammate bots mades solo games “significantly harder”. And thus Patch 3.0, which lifts various “inhibiting restrictions” during the campaign to make bots more “helpful and effective, while still not beating the game for the player”.

Read more Sony has officially unveiled its next iteration of the PS5, or to give it its full name, the PlayStation 5 Pro.
The digital-only PS5 Pro is set to arrive on 7th November. It will cost £699.99/$699.99. Preorders will begin later this month, on 26th September. It will include a 2TB SSD, a DualSense wireless controller and – as the PS5 did – a copy of Astro’s Playroom pre-installed. As a general point, you will need to buy the vertical stand separately (£24.99).
The separate disc drive is also compatible – as per the current Slim model – but costs an additional £99.99. If you want to purchase everything, you are looking at a total of £825.

The show, which was released earlier this year on Amazon Prime, follows the story of Ella Purnell’s Lucy, Walton Goggins’ Ghoul and Aaron Moten’s Brotherhood of Steel member Maximus as they each make their way through the post-apocalyptic wasteland with varying degrees of success.
The series quickly became a hit for the streaming service, with scores of praise across the industry. Our own Fallout review called it “a lovely, if blood-spattered, surprise”, while Fallout’s original creator Tim Cain had nothing but praise for the adaptation.
