Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment has said it will once again allow players to purchase the free-to-play shooter’s battle passes with in-game premium currency after it announced it would only be selling them for real money starting in Season 22.

Earlier this month, Respawn unveiled a number of controversial changes to Apex Legends’ existing battle pass system, in a move it insisted would provide more “value” to players. However, the change that attracted perhaps the most fan ire was Respawn’s decision to begin charging real money for its battle passes, …

Kamiya's still keen to make Okami, Viewtiful Joe sequels, even if publisher isn't

Outspoken former Capcom director Hideki Kamiya has said he feels a “duty” to develop sequels to cult classics Okami and Viewtiful Joe in order to finish off their respective stories.

In his latest video with fellow Capcom alum Ikumi Nakamura, Kamiya asks Capcom again for the ability to return to his former franchises.

“Creators have the duty to create sequels fans are wanting to see,” Kamiya said. “Although I sound all high and mighty, it’s been a while since I’ve moved on from Okami. But I still feel like I haven’t fulfilled my duty. So Capcom-san, please, let’s do it together.

“Same sentiments for Viewtiful Joe 3,” Kamiya continued. “I’d be more than happy.”

The video is light-hearted, and Kamiya acknowledges he is no longer anything to do with Capcom’…

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree mod lets you summon bosses for aid

Modders have been hard at work since the release of Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree, releasing plenty of mods to make it a little easier to complete.

That’s certainly true of this mod from FlippantTunic22 over on Nexus Mods, which replaces certain Spirit Ash summons with bosses from the DLC.

So far 11 bosses have been included. I won’t list them all for spoiler reasons, but it does include the Divine Beast Dancing Lion and Messmer the Impaler you will have seen in the DLC’s trailer – right up to the final boss.
